Rick Dahl, 785-342-1927 Requests from Your Working Board: KITCHEN Well, time is sneaking up on us and the spring walks in Garden City will be here before we know it. It will bring us back together in the name of Christ and that is so exciting. I know that the teams have been chosen and prayers have already begun. God is so good! As it gets closer I will start asking for help in the kitchen so if anyone knows they will be there, you can contact me or just show up. There is always lots to do. The last two sets of walk have brought me a lot of helpers in the kitchen and it has been so wonderful working with each and every one of you. Blessing, the Kitchen Lady, Patty Huffman AGAPE I am the new Agape Guy for 2012! I trust that the volume and quality of agape will continue. The upcoming walks in Garden City will need 65 pieces for each walk. Remember how overwhelmed we all were by the generosity of the community and pass that on. Thanks ahead of time!! You may send that agape to me or bring it to the Agape Room at FUMC in Garden City, in the east entrance on 7th Street - first door on the right! DeColores! Ted Stapleton, Walk # 97 FACILITIES We need experienced help for the Walks plus any new helpers who are willing. This is an opportunity to help the team get the Walk off to a great start, if we have the facilities set-up and ready. Pleas put the Walk dates on your calendars and be ready to help. DeColores, Mark Maier, Facilities SNACKS Walks 105 and 106 are almost upon us! It is time to start considering what you will do for these walks. We will need all kinds of snacks - especially meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables and of course, cookies! If your reunion group or community would like to supply these items or a plate of sandwiches for Thursday night Sendoff, PLEASE contact one of us and we will be most appreciative. When you have an hour or so during the walks come to the north end of the basement in Garden City (entrance North side under awning beside kitchen - immediate left and down the stairs. shhhhh!)
